Just wondering what kind of snail this is because I bought two from the same tanks at the lfs and they look very different.

it's probably something like that.

It's a kind of volute, a Cymbiola species. The most common, and most likely, is Cymbiola vespertilio, the "Bat Volute." They are predators, but very cool.
