They (about 7 that I have seen so far) came in on a new LPS from the LFS. Here is the best picture I could get. This thing is small, maybe 1.5mm across. Any ideas?
I hope they are collinista. The other alternative (Heliacus) looks really bad. They are so small, it is hard to see the ridges. I will have to take it work and examine under a scope.
thats a collinista 100% for sure. they will only breed to the point of where the food supply with substain them. they are excellent algae grazers and best of all they are FREE! keeping your calcium levels in check help them grow. theres even a market for people to buy them.
