Snail ID

I have 4 of these 2 in my sump and 2 in my main tank. I hardly ever see them as they spend most of thier time buried in the substrate. Unlike some snails they dont seem to mind coarse sand and coral gravel to burrow in. The ones I have range in slze from 2.1/2 to 3.1/2" long. Not sure I have ID these correctly but I think they maybe a species of Auger Shells and in particular Terebra maculata from the Red sea and western Pacific. You can find info on them in Baensch Marine Atlas Vol 2 page 629 if you have a copy. They are reported to eat Bristleworms. I managed to snap this one crawling up the back glass not something they do often. Anybody know if I have ID'd it correctly if not do you know it's common name/latin name? Anyway here it is.
