Snails at top of tank?

I noticed today that 12 of my snails all different species, Are for some reason at the top of the tank on the water line? just wondering if there is something i should look for?

algae often grows at waterline and fish can't get at it there.........

That makes sense, I tested everyting and all was good, I dont no if i should be happy or worrie but i cant seem to find any alge with the naked eye:celeb3:, This is a 125 gallon, LRFO setup and i dont have very many fish?? 2 clowns, 2 cardi's, blue damsel, coral beauty, 30 or so snails, 15 crab's and a few other things. water is crstal clear, should i put something in there for these guys to eat?

without intense lighting your algae probably isn't growing fast enough to feed all those snails. I'm not a proponent of feeding snails. It might be better to remove them to greener pastures.

yea i think i will move them, But i do run t-5 and 2x250 mh a couple hrs a day just for the coraline alge plus it looks good with them on. unno this hobbie is wierd sometimes.
