snails eating RTN? or killing coral

please see attached.. i have had these snails in my sump for years.. never appeared to do harm.. mainly come out when lights are out..

recently had power outage and am losing some frags in sump/ frag tank and some in the main disply..

here is pic of frag.. one side healthy and other RTN was covered with dozen sanils..

i think they are good and ok... AGREED????

The snails may just be eating the dead tissue.

thats what it looks like they cleaned up half the frag real nice... didnt bother the other side of it... and last night no longer on it now that the frag side that was RTN is done.. in other words half frag is still good and if they were frag eaters...ie sps eaters they would have finished it off..
