Snails leaving white string on glass

I have 1 or 2 snails that leave this long white swirly string on the glass about 1 or 2 times a week- what is this?

cerith snails? its eggs. dont get all excited, the chances of them surviving are very slim.

theyre reproducing, i'm aftaid theyre not going to gey too far

why would they not be able to reproduce?

they are able to reproduce thats were the eggs are from. but snail have a larval stage. in this stage they are mostly skimmed out of the system or eaten by fish. those that make it past the larval stage are usually eaten by the fish or starve.
