Trochus snails are also excellent snails. They're pretty similar to astraeas (similar size, shape, and I believe diet), but they can flip themselves back over. . .usually. On the other hand, astraeas are relatively cheap.
I must have 30 asteas' in my 65g and every once in a while they will flip on their shell. I just flip them and that's it. They asteas' are some of the best LR and tank cleaners. They are not good on the sand bed. Here I use some red tipped hermits and 10 nassarius snails as well as a few conch's. You need a good mix in my opinion.
