It will easily take a few years to get it to what he had before. I have actually seen it in person. Amazing... I can only hope to get mine to that level...

Hey BlueSPS why dont you mind your own buisness it seem you know alot about Hugo. Why hide who your realy are. Your just a joke give it a rest. It seem that your are just jeolus of Hugos success and that fact that you arent even close to his level. Oh and dont worry I know who you are already. Funny how you will not say that to his face.

I don't know whats going on with you CA guy's but it's obvious that BlueSPS got on here for only one reason, 3 posts. Mods might want to look into this.
Either way, I feel for you snipersps, my tank crashed in Jan. b/c of the same reasons and I know the feeling. Big tank or small, if you put the time in it hurts. Good luck getting it back to what it was, your tank was def. one of my favorite TOTM.

:sad1: So sorry for your loss Hugo. I know it is a very painful thing to experience even the smallest of losses but can't imagine one of that scale...
I woke up to this one morning last fall. Only had LPS, zoas and shrooms at the time.
I remember sitting there crying in front of the tank wanting to throw everything out. Then the stubborn family genes kicked in and I realized how much $ I'd put into the tank, rock, etc and ended up going after a larger challenge. I now have lots of SPS and am upgrading to a bigger tank.
We know you have a deep love for this hobby so I am positive you can dig deep and find the determination to come back better than ever. :thumbsup: How about a basement shark tank? j/k

edit....can't blame electic company all the time. Power outages are bound to happen and losses are bound to occur. No one to blame here. We take too much advantage of electricity here and when one thing goes wrong, we blame it. Will, one day we will not have electricity at all and all tanks will crash. Deal with it.

though I agree with you, I don't think you should kick the guy when he is depressed and down already.

it's very distressing to see a tank of the quailty of yours in its current state. I know I get upset if one of my small colonies shows any sign of dieback so God knows how I would cope if I was faced with your situation. Your tank was truly magnificent,but you knew that already,and I wish you all the very best in your future reefkeeping.
As for the few people on here that are coming out with negative comments and snide remarks they must be truly small minded sad,petty,bitter pathetic little people if they cannot feel the anguish of a fellow reefer and offer a little support.

Yeah I cant believe some of the mean things some people are saying there are some real edit out there, anyway. Sorry about the loss of your baby. I just dont know what I would do in your situation, besides cry alot. Although I dont have many corals of the same caliber as the ones you lost. I would still like to send you a frag of every coral in my tank When the tank is ready.
