snorkeling in Ft. Morgan/ Gulf Shores, AL?

Anyone know of any calm pools to snorkel/explore in. Looking for a place that's easy to get to with no boat.

Our water is calm compared to most but there is no
areas that are really calm

Any lagoons or grass beds? That's what I'm looking for. Some backwater areas or tide pools.

you might try the bay side of ft morgan, if you can find access or go to the marina there and ask them, they might have some ideas. you might could go to tacky jacks bar and see if any of the locals can help u out. some are usually there for happy hour. the bar is located at the marina also. pm me when u will be down there, i have some contacts over there{as in my wife is one of the bartenders} and maybe i can find something out for u if there is enough time

Just inside Perdido pass. Not a tide pool, but ok at peak high tide before the currents get strong. Many tropicals in summer.
