Snorkeling in Puerto Plata

Just got back from Puerto Plata. We went snorkeling on a reef at paradise island. It was fantastic.

Unbelievable fish, lots of corals and other life. Tangs, wrasse, angels, tons of other fish.

I could not believe the number of urchins in the water where everyone was swimming at the hotel. There was a nice reef there as well. No where like paradise island though, because the island is government protected.

We even went to a place called ocean world and swam with dolphins.

We had a great time for sure!!

I wish I had been able to take some.

During the trip out and back from the island you got totally soaked. I didn't have a waterproof cover for my camera so they recommended I didn't take it.

I really didn't expect the fish and corals to be as spectacular as they were or I would have picked up a disposable camera at worst case.
