Just wondering if Mustang Island (near Corpus Christi) or South Padre Island (southern tip of texas) has any good spot to see some wildlife such as gorgonians, other corals, seahorses, and such.
I am not a deep sea diver, but do plan to snorkel if its not to far out. Where are the best places to see these kinds of things? I have heard that seahorses are found mostly in grassland areas in bays, and not so much around the open waters of the sea.
What about the shallow water corals like some zoanthids and gorgonians? Do tese even live near these islands I am mentioning or is everything like this in Florida?
