Snorklin photos in Manati Puerto Rico - Canon p&s with housing

Yesterday I visited a very nice secluded beach with two friends in Manati, Puerto Rico and I want to share some photos of the trip.

I used my Canon Powershot A630 point & shot camera with a cheap Dicapac underwater housing I purchased at ebay for $30.

Considering the equipment I used I am very pleased with the results. The housing was perfect and it was very easy to change settings in the camera, even to take some videos!

Close to this reef there are some caves full of corals and zoas. What is amazing is that some are in very limited light. Coraline algae is everywhere.

Did the flash work with that housing?

looks like some fun snorkeling action! especially the cave stuff. Those brains and favia look lovely. Its good to see some healthy reef. Thanks for sharing.

All functions of the camera work including the flash. The only problem is that the LCD display sometimes is difficult to see because there is to much light from the sun in the reef.
