Snow Storm

Well I decided to upgrade my power heads!! I woke up to a snowstorm in my tank ugly! Still on a budget I decided to go with the Hyder Koralia 1150 GPH Kit for $139.00 this includes two pumps and SmartWave pump controller. Magnetic support system never again suction cups!!! The sandstorm killed my Foxface which I had for 2 years! Lesson learned......... I will only use magnetic support system circulation pumps. I'm also going to try to 3rd generation 1350 GPH $61.00.

Similar problem here, thankfully no fish loss. I'm sorry you had to lose such a cool fish =/ suction cups are so unreliable.

Sorry you lost a fish :thumbdown but thank you for posting your experience. It helps us newcomers avoid the same pitfalls.

I had similar problems with my first powerhead in my first tank. Sorry for your loss. I too stick to magnet or magnet/suction setups now.
