Snowflake/black ice clownfish fry

Thanks everyone :)

Getting them to meta was the turning point, and now that they're in my reef tank system its super easy to take care of them.

So how has the breeding gone since these pictures were taken? Just curious how your fish have been doing so far or if you have already parted with most of them.

They are 2 days short of 6 months old right now :) They were already around 1.25", and they have all found new homes.

man i wish i knew where my clownfish lay their eggs. ive had a pair of oscellaris clowns for over a year. never know if they lay eggs. if they do ive never seen it. i have two anemones in my tank as well as frogspawn etc many places for them to host. however they just hang out in the top right hand side behind my HOB finger cover

Its amazing to see the the vast pattern differences in a clutch- some looked more normal in the beginning while others had the awesome snowflake look pretty early on. Thanks for posting the progression pictures very cool.

If they are associating with the corner of the tank they would more than likely lay eggs there. So if you havn't seen eggs there at this point more than likely your clowns are not laying yet.

If they are whenever there is a spawn you will not see your male much as he will be tending the eggs.... If you have eggs find the male and you will find the eggs.

Look nice, I want 2 of them.

Moved them over to the sump of my reef tank today, they're not happy with the change in venue...
