Snowflake Eel Throwing Up

Mine would regurgitate from time to time. It never seemed to have any ill effects. Probably some undigested food.

It was undigested. I have seen the food before just come floating but never saw him do it. I feed him krill and I was just wondering if maybe that was making him do it.

I don't think so. Don't really know. He won't keep eating and eating like reg. fish. He will stop or not even take it at all. How do I know if I am overfeeding?

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but my snowflake just threw up some undigested food as well. I feed him till he refuses to eat anymore twice a week. What is the problem? Am i overfeeding him?

TIA

How long have you had the fish? It's possible it just overate, too. My eels threw up a few times in the beginning. I reasoned they may not know when to stop since in the wild they probably just eat what they can get, but over time they realize their limit. Just an idea really.

yeah probably just overate.... also be sure to mix up the diet - do not just feed krill, they need a mix of krill, shrimp, clams, silversides, etc.
