that the fish in my tank

Those fish are way too small to keep a snowflake eel. You might be able to get away with a small one for a little while but sooner or later (most likely sooner) he'll get big and those fish will become lunch

Absolutely agreed. Every single one of those fish you listed is prey sized for your moray... keep this in mind: eels work like snakes, if they can get their jaws around it, they can work it into their gut.

Snowflake eel?

Snowflake eel?

I am interested in a small snowflake moray eel:D. It is around 7-10''
I have a 32g cube with a rose bubble anemone, 2 Wyoming white clowns and a cleaner shrimp.
I have been told the size (32g) would be fine for it and I know that they do prefer crustaceans. would my current stocking be fine?:worried:

I didn't think snowflakes were necessarily fish eaters.

In nature they are a crustacean eater. You can tell by the teeth.

But, I have seem them eat feeder fish. I wouldn't trust them with any small fish (clowns) that I cared about. The cleaner shrimp could be eaten too, unless the snowflake recognizes it as a cleaner....There are plenty of pics of morays with cleaner shrimp in their mouths.

The 32 cube probably isn't a big enough tank anyway.

I would say no on everything. IMO, 55g is the smallest tank for a snowflake. The shrimp would definitely be gone since that's it's normal diet and the fish probably wouldn't be far behind.

Huh I didn't know that.

But yes it's too small agreed. I didn't pay attention to the tank size.
