They are easy to keep. They do not need special feeding
You got plenty of light. I dont think they are like open brians . Im not sure about the colors you mentioned. Im sure chad could get you some. Check out Iive aquarium or other sites for colors and such . They are consider a beginner coral if im not mistaken .

I have 2 Platygyra sinuosa Maze Brain Corals. Their feeding tentacles come out at night. I occasionally target feed them with Liquid Life Marine Plankton(Frozen Cyclops-eze) and some DT's Frozen Oyster eggs in the morning before the lights come on and their tentacles are still out. From what I have read, since the tentacles come out at night, it is indicative that they are zooplankton feeders as opposed to phytoplankton feeders. One of them is shaped exactly like a human brain which I think is really cool. My wife thinks they are boring, but she thinks most of my corals are. She really hates my large Bubble Coral and calls it "Cajones" because of the oval shape of the bubbles.

Oops, I made a typo in my post. The 2 Closed Brain Corals I have are Platygyra sinensis, not sinuosa as I erroneously posted previously.

steve, was this at chad's??

pm me about those clowns please steve (i cannot send pms for some reason???)
