125 gallon and tank stand & canopy made of maple wood. Measures 48x24x24.
Im still in the preliminary stages of getting started but its looking good so far. Next I will be shooping for a wet/dry or sump and skimmer. Lights are on order.
Im starting it FOWLER but in a year or so reef.
Ive been reading a ton about fish and their habits/behavior and this is a list I came up with:
2 percula clowns
Marine Beta aka Comet
Sleeper Banded Bullet (sand sifter goby)
Six Line Wrasse
Lawnmower Blenny
Yellow tang

What would be a good order to add them in?
Will a sand sifter goby be good or a detriment to a sand bed?

Great looking tank. However, the marine beta will not be good with the goby. The beta is somewhat of a predatory fish which means it isn't a good candidate for a peaceful tank. Anyways, this is what I know of them so I could be completely misinformed. Anyways, good luck.

That's a nice setup. What do you have on order for lights?

FWIW I would deff go with a sump and skimmer and skip the wet/dry.

The Comets are Groupers and do eat small fish. Usually those fish will be under an inch long as they are not that big themselves 5-6 inches.

I knew a old friend who had a Beta with a different kind of goby and they got along quite well. Also in reading about it...he Beta does eat small small fish and shrimp.

Based on your measurements your tank is a 120, not a 125.
You are correct sir! My mistake

For the lights I went with the T5 HO retro's 48" 2 x 54w. I bought 3 sets and half of the bulbs are actinic.

Nice looking tank - I like the maple.

FWIW I would add the sixline second from last with the yellow tang last.

I really like your setup. My wife would like it also. She thought my old tank made our room look like a science lab. :)

Pretty stand/canopy. Who makes it?
