So I Think I Cooked All My Corals!!!!!!

Well,

Over the last 4 days I have been very busy and have not been home at night and I noticed at about 4pm two days ago I had no PE and all my Zoas were closed. So I know somthing was up and tested my water all was good... And over the next day or so I notice all SPS bleaching a bit!!!! :mad: :eek1: And thin I get home last night at about 2am and notice all my tank lights are on!!!:eek1: I am not sure when I did it but I turned all the timeres on to clean and do a water change and I think it was last monday and never turn it back to the timer position:eek2: We will see if they can recover.

I have not had any RTN or STN just loss of color very rapidly!!!!!:(
 
Those maintenance adjustments have zinged more than one reefer, for sure! I set the kitchen timer, since my last fiasco.
 
Oh I'm so sorry. I hope everything is ok. I have done that once. I lost a couple things but a lot of things pulled through. I've also frozen my poor tank before. forgot to turn the hearters on after doing a major water change. Good luck
 
Jason, what happened! If you need anything, just call!!! By the way, when are we putting that floor under your tank?

Well all seems to be getting back to normal but 1 item was lost and that was my Or. Tort But I am happy to say ever thing else has survived.

Glad to hear things are pretty good. Extreme Corals has a great sale going on right now (35%) and has plenty of ORA Blue Torts in stock. And I have seen them in person - they look FREAKING amazing!!!
 
sorry to hear about the tort. But thankfully all else seems to be ok. I get so upset when I lose something so I understand. Thankfully the longer we do this the less we lose from learning.

Ya I can but it is no use I am laying wood floors and have decided to dell my home to buy a bigger one so in the next month or so the tank will be comming down tell I get into my new home. THanks All
