So I thought about opening a LFS...

hey how come i always get blamed???.....I think that was Al last time....but if your looking for xenias I've got a few in my sump you can have really cheap if you come get them in the next 3 weeks.....might have a zoo or two laying around too

he looked like an al to me... (my girlfriend recognized him and said she thought his name was al... long story, she doesnt know him but thats not the point!)

so, who of you want to be sweet talked? ehh? ehh? i really wish i had more to trade... i dont have much for fish stuff..

anyone want a paintball gun or a guitar pedal or something? :-D

haha.

I helped move a lfs here in Lincoln, and know few things about the business. I would sell out of a garage before even thinking about renting space. If you get 6 or so 40 breeders and and 10-15 20H's. Set it up in you garage and you'll be ready in no time.

ben, it good to see you on here instead of saltwaterfish.com alot more local people on here and more friendly

heck yeah! this place is awesome. i honestly didnt know until you showed me that there was an iowa reef club section.

also...if any of you do decide to do this garage buisness thing... you should let us know about it :-D

I will give you all the shrooms you want. Allowing mushrooms of any kind in my tank was the biggest reefing mistake I ever made.

actually i had never heard of it till maybe a month ago...

we called and a little girl anwserd and said she didnt know if her mom sold fish anymore.

hahaha.... so, i dont think so. she didnt actually give the phone to her mom though.

Although I don't agree with much the emporium does it would be appreciated if we could keep this topic civil, whether a store handles its business in a good or bad fashion its never a respectable thing to bash them without there knowledge. Rude comments and lectures on what they "could" or "should" do need to stay off this forum. It makes the members and the club look disrespectful and will not be tolerated. thanks j

I actually agree. The responsible thing to do is take action when you see animals or people being treated or cared for in ways you are not comfortable with and report them to the proper agencies. Bashing them here will only hurt the club and this discussion and will not resolve the problem.
