So I'm full of questions, just changed out the ro/dI filters

So I swapped out all of the filters and membrane on a reef+1 from the filter guys. The unit is making a ton of hissing and very noisy, much noisier than I remember previously. Is there a break in period on the new membrane and filters? Tds meter reads 0 and extremely little output.

I'm not familiar with that particular unit but to my knowledge, none of them require a break in period. More noise and less output suggests perhaps it is not put together properly.

I have a brs unit. When I changed out the ro section, it made noise for a little bit. I'd give it some time as long as you're not seeing any leaks.

Try tipping it this way and that and see if it burps out any air.

If not the membrane may not be seated well. Sometimes it takes a bit of work to get it to seat properly.
