So it always happens when on vacation...

So last week, when the house was empty for a few days it happened. After 8 months. It was time. I found out while in Vegas, my wife came home first, texts some pics.

My clown had finally found its natural host. She only slept 12 inches away, but had showed zero interest. My entire family was shocked and in disbelief it happened. Here are some pics.(cell phone, please excuse :) )

Congrats! So exciting!! I am on day 2 waiting for my Ocellaris clown to host BTA. I don't think I can wait 8 months! I just saw a you tube video of introducing clown to host using Clear PVC tube.... After 2 weeks I will try that!

BEAUTIFUL!

So am I, the only thing I changed was carbon dosing with vinegar to increase the kalk amount in the the ATO. I wonder if possibly cleaner water did it.

I got photo bombed by Paul Haggis, sigh.

BTA is not a natural host for clowns, so it's a 50:50 proposition at best.

I am really surprised that it took your Ocellaris so long to find a Magnifica.

I agree. Anytime I've added a Mag it took the clowns seconds to find it and 'dive' right in.

To the OP, nice to see good things also happened when you're away .... not just bad things

Right? I tried to throw a curveball.

I must have had the most stubborn clown ever. Now she won't leave the Nem, maybe to snag some food but that's about it. She was treated for Brook last year around this time, I wonder if that could have also had an effect.

This little one, was our first of two fish. Here is the thread with Brook last year, fun times. I added the Haddoni that is hanging out in the corner still introducing Brook from Petco.
