Thanks everyone. That is my picture and I could have probably gotten a much better shot if I was able to clean the diatoms off the glass but the clam is in the way. As a result, I had to shoot at an angle.
PS. The fish dives into the clam very often, especially when the bigger fish are swimming by
The clowns have been nesting in that clam for over a year now with no ill effects (not to say that there aren't any, just none that I can see) I have not yet seen the clam shut as a reaction to the "invasion."
PS. It's only the male that actually goes into the clam. The female as of late has been moving towards relocating to our elegance coral but the male seems to like the clam better and hasn't followed her into the elegance.....yet.
