August meeting anyone?

I don't know if you guys want to meet up somewhere public for the first meeting or just jump right into someone volunteering to host the meeting.

anyone want to host the send off meeting? we can all bring pot luck munchies and such so the host doesn't get to put out with buying it all.

I have a free frag of feathery GSP to the first host! :D

I'm in for a meet and greet. I can't host the first since I'm moving in the middle of August. Anyone wanna help? LOL.

Hey, it's letting me post now. Yay!!

I'm up for a meet & greet......something public would be good for the first time, no?

Rick.....Wendy is having issues posting.....but she is interested in the meet & greet as well.

I am up for it as well. I think a public place would probably be best since some of us dont know anyone at all (like me). I would be willing to host future ones, once I get to know some people :).

I would be willing to host future ones, also......however, my tanks are not all that much to look at right now, IMO!!

But the socializing would be fun (food & drinks), I think!! (o: I like talking about what I "could" have. LOL

since more people live in pizzle, why don't the PSLers pick a spot that would be cool on a late sunday afternoon, maybe sumpthin' on US1 so it's easy to get to.

Roy's Sushi in St Lucie West has a couple of salt tanks. LOL
I have been there - good food, but pricey.......nice size main tank and all.....but more tangs than I think are appropriate. Been a lil while since I've been there.....maybe it's changed.......
Smaller tank is up on the bar.....I didn't get a chance to see what's in there.

But for atmosphere......alot of the tables are low tables (like coffee tables) surrounded by sofas. Seems relaxing for a chat, yanno?

Also, there's a place in Ft Pierce.....on the east side of US1 between Virginia and Edwards, I think.....called Out Of Bounds.....they have a saltwater tank. I've only been there once....for lunch.....and if I recall, they' didn't have too much in the tank....but you could see it from all four sides - a free standing tank. Again....that was a while ago....maybe they've changed, added more fish, etc.

But if I recall, the food was reasonable and not specific to any cuisine.......fish, burgers, salads and the such.

Hi everyone, I am interested in a "meet and greet" meeting.

I am coming from Stuart, though, so I would prefer St. Lucie West to be as far as I would have to commute.

I would be interested in hosting future meetings.

Chilis could work......
And they're 2-4-1 drinks, too, no? HaHaHa!!!

There's one on US1 in Jensen Bch......and one in St Lucie West.....not real sure where others are, but I guess the Chilis site could tell you, no?

I know that besides myself, there's one other gal that would join us......she just still hasn't received the email from RC to confirm her joining the site to be able to post.

My weeknights are pretty full (kid in martial arts and kid in football) but weekend evenings are usually open.

Ooops......guess I should have just said "weekends" are usually open......can do afternoons, as well. (o:
(That would get me out of weeding or laundry......lol)

okie dokie, is the jensen chili's cool with everybody? we can always shift it up the road and hit an applebees, fridays, etc.

my sundays are wide open now that work is closed that day too.
