So what is the differenc between new growth and burnt tips?

Just curious. Seems a lot of my Acros have new growth at the tips. But some of the tip seem quite white and just a bit different. Millis to be exact. Yet there are still extended polyps at the tips so it does not look "dead" or like it is regressing.

Millepora will typically have white growth tips. It is in all likelihood just new growth.

Since you see polyps on the tip than its just new growth.
