My Hollywood stunner chalice finally crapped out. I pulled it out of the tank and it's just sitting there . Would like to sell it if I could but don't know if there would be any interest.

Clean then mount other chalice fragments to the skeleton. My limited experience leads me to feel that they will grow and spread much faster when they have an existing surface to spread onto. My guess is it allows for a thinner skeleton base to be created which makes it easier to spread quicker than they can "grow". Put multiple frags of a higher dollar chalice on it and in a couple years you could have a jaw dropping piece.

I have thought about it....but it just seems to collect detritus. Awesome hide out fo several fish at one time too.

What happened to the chalice? this was your prized possession??

Yes it was ... I think my salinity got to low, crazy with work and family... I left it on the back burner and it got burnt
