I use Culligan drinking water, 10 TDS.

I'm curious what others are getting with an RO/DI.

My system auto flushes the membrane and then runs for a few hours to fill a reservoir. So its 2 and 0 every time all the time.

My com100 always reads 0.2 to 0.4 ppm out of my RODI system. My tap water is over 350 ppm.

Is your Culligan an RO/DI ? Usually drinking water systems are only RO. The ultra pure from RO/DI allows the water to absorb flavors from the container and can get unpleasant tastes.

And to be honest pure RO/DI once exposed to air will not be zero, it will have a slightly low TDS because it bonds with atmospheric contaminants. Ultra pure water is only pure in a vacuum.

What meter do you have that reads this low? Is it a handheld or inline? My handheld won't display less than 0.1 ppm. I would be interested in getting more resolution at the low end of the scale.

2 ppm after running through 2 di chambers. Getting to be time to change some filters. City water here and it runs between 230-317 ppm. I couldn't drink it after that reading.

For those who buy Kroger bottled drinking water, it runs right at 200tds. I haven't checked the others yet but I'm curious to see where they fall. Kroger is only charcoal filtered but Wal Mart claims theirs is RO. I'm picking up a bottle next time I'm there to see how it fares. My bet is that it's pushing 200, even though it claims to be RO

Ive yet to test my Tap water, but again Zero after RO/DI. I was getting 34ppm before new filters...

You could do what I did, and add a DI stage between your RO and the carbon polishing filter. That will give you 0 TDS. Mine is s little crowded under the sink, but with a tee and a three way valve with John Guest fittings, you can change between drinking (RO) and fish (RO/DI). I also installed a TDS meter to let me know whether the RO membrane is going, and how the DI is doing.
