what soft corals are ok to touch each other? i am buying a huge toad stool and leather coral for my tank today and i already have a pretty large leather coral and 2 small toad stools and some mushrooms and gsp where i want to put these two new additions/.....

my leathers touch with no problems but i have seen one of my toadstools lose some color from touching gsp.

I've got GSP growing up the stock and on the bottom of my fiji yellow leather. Does not seem to bother it so far.

The biggest problem I've seen between having leathers and mushrooms in close proximity is that larger leathers tend to shade the mushrooms, so they may not get enough light.

It is generally not wise to have any non related corals touching. Some will be fine but some will kill the other one in no time.
It is hard to tell which ones can get along. I have many of them touching with no problem and also some with problems. My old bubble coral fell onto my star polyps and in a few weeks it is totally dead. It lost most of it's tissue almost immediately. (It is on the bottom in this picture) See this large coral, notice the gorgonian next to it. If you look close the branches on the top left of the gorg are dead. That large coral sometimes touches those branches.
