Sohal Tang and Purple Tang for Sale

Hi,

I have a couple of saltwater fish I need to re-home. There is a purple tang and sohal tang along with two yellow-tailed blue damsels. The only caveat is that they all need to go together. I would only be able to get all these fish when I break down the tank so if I have someone who can take them altogether that would be ideal. The purple tang is a little beat up but it's survived a bunch of tank crashes with me throughout the past five years, I'd like to find them all a good home together if possible as I need to break down the tank. The fish are all healthy and eat pellets. The sohal does have a little bit of hole in the head but the color on the fish is still spectacular. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I have pictures on my phone that I can send out as well if you like to see them.

Thanks,

Maurice

I absolutely loved my sohal. He could be a pain sometimes but what a gorgeous fish. Hope these guys go to a good home. GLWS!

Hi All,

The Sohal is about 6-7 inches give or take the purple is about 5 inches and the two damsels are your average full grown damsels. Also, I'm located in Millbrae, CA. Also asking $100 for all the fish.

Hi All,

PMs have all been responded to for those who expressed interest. I am now waiting to hear back. Priority will go to someone who can take all 4 fish together.

Thanks,

Maurice

if only i had a big ol tank! Great price! GLWS

Man... not even if I had a big ol tank (and I do), Sohal is one of those tangs I won't ever even consider getting. Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome looking fish, and I'm not being all tang police like here, they just have a reputation for being bullies.

thats probably why the purple tang is all beat up...:hammer:

The purple tang was not beat up by the sohal. I've only had the sohal for the past year and the purple for the last 5-6 years. This sohal was actually decent with other tangs (blue, naso, yellow, and sailfin). The purple is "beat up" and lost its color due to having survived some tank crashes, tank leaks, and a 6 inch Maroon Clown protecting her eggs. Situations vary, but in my case, acclimating this sohal was very easy and the only thing it got angry at was my algae magnet.

True, I had a purple tang that was bullied by a foxface every time there was food dropped in the tank... needless to say <$20 fish needed to go to time-out in the sump while >$100 fish could establish himself a bit more in the tank and get bigger :D

I had to get rid of a pt for being a bully to all my cleaner shrimp and wrasses! I caught him chasing the shrimp under the rocks biting off chunks of white tenticle! He also liked sps polyps! Terrible role model but had the prettiest purple with bright yellow fins.
