Soho Tang...

I had to run down to Iowa City today and I stopped by Coralville Bay. Much to my surprise, they had a Soho tang (aka the fish in the Reef Central logo) in their main tank.

What an awesome fish! A few years down the line when I've got a lot more experience under my belt, I'd really like to have one of those as the "feature" fish in my tank...

I didn't bother asking how much they wanted for it... I'm sure that it wasn't cheap.

Hung, at Sea of Marvels, had one a couple weeks ago for $100. By the way, it's "Sohal"...

Heh, thanks... I was thinking that "soho" didn't sound quite right for some reason... I guess I should have looked it up again before I posted.

Wow, $100 would be a great deal. As I understand it, those are fairly rare fish.

got my screen name from Adams Aquatics about 6 yrs ago thats how they spelled it. We got our sohal tang from petco 3 yrs ago he was about 2 in. and on sale for $25.00 He is now 11 in. from nose to tip of tail and the bully in my fish only tank, the only fish that does not back down is our 14 in. porky.
