it has already been ship ups. dammm i know how ups is cuzz i use to work there. guss i just gotta wait and see if its gonna get here with out any damage.

I did the samething on Friday. I orderded my tank from Petsolutions and already shipped out by UPS. Just cross my fingers.

bigal hopfuly this makes u feel better. i emailed pet solution yesterday and ask them this-

hi i ordered an aquarium form you guys tyoday and wated to know if there is insurance on the package?

We have insurance with UPS on these deliveries. If there is a problem we have to file a claim and do a reship.

and another question how do i know if my solana has the starphire glass? does all 34 gal solanas have it?

It seems as though they all now have low iron glass. I do not know for sure, but the recent purchases seem to have come with it.

I believe all the new Solana tankss are made with Starphire glasses. Maybe someone who purchased the tank recently can verify that.

I still haven't made the decision on the stand yet since I have heard different opinion for the Solana stand. If I have time, I might go to the local store to measure the Biocude stand to see if it will fit the Solana or not.

Its the front and sides. The way to know if you received the starphire version is if the model number is 7043. The regular glass version is 7048. Hope that helps

i dont know if u seen the link i posted but on nano-reefs a guy said the cornor of the bio cube stand starts curving at 19.5" so that means .5" of the solana will hang at the cornors. im just basing that on what i read. if u do find out that it fits please let us know.

I got mine in the summer from a LFS. Got the 7043 model with the Starphire glass.

As I recall I think I read that Current phased out the 7048 model with regular glass.

My supplier has about 50 in stock and ALL have starphire so im pretty sure they are no longer sold with reg glass.

whats wrong with the solana stand anyways? is it just that you like how the nanocube looks better?

anyway i might pass by LFS tomorrow and they sell them, ill leave my tape measure next to my keys so i remember to take it and measure 4 u.

Blazing, I recieved my tank last night and no visual damage. Not much package protection for the tank inside the box, so I guess I was lucky didn't receive a broken tank. I should receive my stand tonight and I will try to put it together during the holiday break and test for the leakage.

koo thst nice to know. hope mines make it in one piece. i email pet soultions and ask if the tank has starphire and they said yes. post some pics when u have it up. i think mines is mess up cuzz i havent had any updates since the 14. its suppose to be here tomarrow but i dont think it will guess will see tomarrow.

Probably already too late if you didn't do what I have done. I ordered the gift certificates and sent them to myself. I used the gift certificates to purchase the tank and the stand that saved me another $70 :dance: I purashed total of $350 gift certificates and received $420 ($10 free when purchase $50 GC). In total, I paid around $370 for both tank and stand. I think I can't find any deal better than this!!

I can confirmed it has starphire. The newer model
