Do any of you guys have a trick for getting way down into the pre-filter box? I put some floss down there and now its way down at the bottom, wedged in there and its restricting my flow. Need to find something long and narrow to try and grab it with, and I have no idea what to use.

Anyone have an opinion of moving a 34 Gallon Solana about half full of water? :eek2:
I have 2 moves ahead of me. In a little over one week I have to move the tank to my parents house, where my wife, son and I will be living for about 3 weeks until I close on my new house which is 600 miles away.
For the first move from my current home to my parents, I was considering removing half the water, some of the rock just sticking it in the car. I hate the idea of removing everything.
Also dabbling with the idea of just selling all the livestock at a stupid cheap price just so I know it's in good hands.

If I were you Id take the tank completely down and try and find a local reefer buddy who could hold your live stock in their tank for 3 weeks. then just make the 600 mile move and re-setup the tank at that time.
DONT MOVE THE TANK WITH 1/2 the water in it like you want too.. :eek1:
GL!
