still thinking about LED? I bought two 20in LED fixtures, changed my mind and put it on my solana 34G, it is a perfect fit, have a spare one now for sale now.
20 3W white, 20 3W blue, 6 uv purple and buildin timer, two knobs for lighting temperature adjustment.
Let me know who is interested.

i was going to get bulbs but the guy at nano tuners said they werent getting one bulb in stock that i wanted i forget which one now but i needed 4 of them so i said forget it.what bulb combo did you go with?

Just stumbled across this thread. Has anyone drilled one of the solanas? I have started considering drilling both of mine and then plumbing them to my basement to a 250g rubbermade sump.

I have not drilled on yet, but I have done some research and have learned that it is possible. I am considering drilling a solana as well. keep us posted on what you do.

I run mine at 100% on reefcrest mode.

Reefcrest is yellow light correct? It's confusing compared to the old mp10 where 1 light color meant 1 setting instead of the one color push select to change settings.

yeah, it is yellow and I agree, it's a big confusing. I researched before I got the unit and pretty much have just turned it on yellow and left it there for the past 10 months.

Will do Nirvana. I am working on a drilled 3gal pico at the moment so it may be a little while before I start doing anything to the solana.

i love the shimmering effect,ive got the lights kinda high up how high do you guys have your lights up?

Well I have had enough of constantly having to remove cheato gunk from my return pump. The middle chamber fuge has gone.

So now, left to right.

• Egg crate shelf with 9002 skimmer.
• under the crate mp400 connected to....
• TLF 150 reactor in second chamber (full of carbon)
• mj900 return pump, 2x heaters, and a JBJ ATO float valve.

Doing this maintenance resulted in a lot of detritus flowing into the tank. Grr. I have a heavy skim going now and it will hopefully clear up soon.

I have emergency saltwater ready to go and I am checking all the levels every few hours.

I am thinking of going the ULNS route. Cheato just wasn't working out for me. Anyone else taking this route?

This is now the third time I have posted in this thread with a question, and never had a reply. So, what's going on? I'd appreciate some solana love here!
