i had no magnet attached but i think you should be able to keep the mag on in the first chamber

very nice light, what was wrong with the stock one? Well besides the fact that we mod just about everything in this hobby!

i never had the stock light I opted for the tank and stand only when purchased. I knew this light would come out if i waited a bit. I had a simple 20 inch power compact 40 watt bulb for about 2 months. I really like the light brings out the colors for sure

I got stevieT's cup today (NEXT DAY MAIL!) packaged very very well QUALITY stuff anyone that wants to keep that tunze skimmer in the 1st chamber its a must have. Thanks stevie!

I read the tunze skimmer is 13 inches high,does that include the collection cup?

the skimmer will need to be raised for it to work right

According to Currents web site they have no part number listed for the pre-filter that I could find.I would just go to your LFS and and buy any porus filter and cut it to size.
