Soooo....I know I said I had a nice surprise fer you all today, and I sure do howerver I couldn't get very good pics. But I picked up a paired set of ORA Spotted Mandarins 100% frozen, prepped, pellet fed. Awesome little guys. since I picked the up at RC they confirmed there vorocious appetite with pellets! super huge thanks to RC, especially Anthony for getting these babies ready fer pick up today. I will have pics posted tomorrow. 
Of course I couldnt stay away from the magnet that pulls you to gar corals , so I picked up a sexy ORA Purple Rimmed Cap to add to my collection! Pic to come as well.

Any new tank pics of your solana XL67?
Im thinking of changing my lighting, I currently have an ATI 6x54 very, very bright and awsome colors but Im a tech freak and would love to try out some LEDs probably the par38s from Evil66 and save a couple of bucks on the energy bills.
I installed a Teco 1/5 HP chiller and set it to keep the tank temp at 80F, it barely turns on and I have the central AC set to 79f

I need to take sometime and upload pics!
I have Evils Actinic Supplementation... Those that have seen in person are in amazement on the color pop! Evil's stuff is hardcore.
I have a 1/10 chiller (Current) and I keep it at 76, even with the glass lids on, the chiller isn't constantly coming on!
One thing that I am working on is trying to get my JbJ ATO installed. I am thinking of removing the wall between the chiller and sump, which would give me some room to put a smaller sized ATO maybe 5- 8 gallon right nest to sump... I have been toying ideas around, and been toping off like 1/4 gallon in AM and Night if that.. Just so the water level is consistant.
What sux is, I really want that wall in there, but I think the benifits with it out, out way the wall being in.
I will try and post pics tonight.

So I promised the guys over at Reef Culture that I would get some pics up ASAP of a beauty that I picked up from them. Those that know me, know that I am very concentrated on rebuilding my Acan garden, and Zoa collection. I also was able to finally pick up a sexy Scoly!

How are the ORA mandarins doing? I have heard only bad things about them on a post in the general forum here. People were having a ton of trouble getting them to eat.
That said the guys at RC showed me one of theirs and he was a chubby little guy, i was just curious how they adapted.

My Mandarins are good! One is super chubby! And the other has maintained it's little gut for about a month or so. But both are happy and eatin prepped!

When talking to the guys at RC they have one that looks like hay, just green. They said this happens when the are damaged during collection, and this is what happens when they heal. But they said no splitting. In all the research I did to make sure in can successfully have one, I never read up on splitting.
