Could they be used with a closed loop and a sprinkler controller or 2 to create chaotic flow? Assuming theres no metal parts thats actually touch the water though.

All the sprkinkler assemblies I saw were metal parts somewhere in the water flow.

Did you find something??

Havnt found anything but it was just a question to see if it was a possibility. A bunch os SCWDs or an Ocean Motions unit costs money.

okay, any body know of any other methods for alternating current, maybe that dont cost $600 for the unit alone :rolleye1: . My other choice is 3 SCWDs but they put alot of resistance on the pump.

If it died, within that short of a time they should call OM and talk with Paul or Cass and they will make it right.

I would bet money that if it failed after three years, they would still make it right.

Chances are that if the unit had problems that quickly after installation that some sand might have gotten stuck in the drum.

Taking out the drum and cleaning it is about a ten minute project.

And the normal suggestions are that after a start up or first run installation of the OM to run the pumps without the drum installed to allow the sand to settle.

But if they call Paul, I will think they will make it right.

Paul has called me back three times, and given me his cell number, and I did not have any problems just set up questions.

And I bought my unit used from someone else, and told him so.

He even sent me the allen wrench and lubiction and instructions on how to remove teh drum, for free, even though I offered to pay him, at least shi[pping and handling..

No deal.

He sent them for free.

No, it was a sprinkler solenoid, not an Oceans Motions unit. Oceans Motions stuff is top notch, this was a cheap lawn sprinkler solenoid.
