Solenoids

I am trying to find some 120v normally closed solenoids that aren't brass. I can find lots of brass ones.

Does anyone know where I can find some without breaking the bank?

I have seen the ones at autotopoff.com, but they are expensive. I can get two elsewhere for about the price of one from autotopoff.

True, but i like the built in john guest, and if if fails, you can take it back to McMaster and they will replace... for years..

I bought mine through ebay...120v normally closed solenoid. The ad did picture a 12 volt...but hte one sellin gis 120. Been using it for a few weeks with my AC3/float switch. No probs yet.

Anyone using 2 in series as a failsafe, in case one gets stuck open?
For my gravity-feed ATO, my plan is to just put two on the same power supply, controlled by a float switch on my RKE. Both open, both close together on a set schedule.
I was going to try to use irrigation solenoids that I found on sale at Lowes; however, through research I have now found that they require back-pressure, so I am changing plans and ordering from an eBay supplier.

I have the ebay ones listed. Seems to work well. I purchased the john guest quick connects too for ease.
