Some different fish pics

What's AO and ELOS?

Well Elos is Elos, they have a store near us named Elos aqua studio. AO is an abbreviation for another LFS, that's where the diamond tails came from. I don't know about mikeandnicole, but I don't like giving the name out of my honey hole. It's like fishing, once you find a good spot that always produces, you don't wanna give out its location.

The goby was from a local Lfs though I got a pair from dd. I cut and copied the pics from my local board hence the store names. I should have realized on here they do not carry much weight outside of jersey.

Thank you for the kind words. The angel is a false shepardi and joculator. I love pygmys but the last one I had I had to give away as he was a polyp nipping machine.

I thought I would join. Not super rare, but uncommon in the hobby:

Getting rid of the joculator was tough but it is going to such a grea program and we really want to go back to a true reef tank again. My wife and I joke around the joc got that amazing color from eating such pretty corals.

The fish swimming upside down is a gold assessor basslet. He is an Ora tank raised one which has gotten really hard to get recently and some wild caughta are coming back in. However Ora put up an amazing pic on Facebook the other day of a ton of babies. We can't wait as they are an under appreciated fish that will school, are reef safe, stay small, and are easy to group.

What corals of yours did it pick on?

All. Lps and sps. We just started our big tank not too long ago so we have not reached mature colonies yet that can withstand picking. If we had large colonies of sps that would be one thing but frags get taken down quick. Lps was just candy which is the risk you take. Hopefully when more tank bred angels come along they will be a bit more reef safe and I will have colonies grown out.

Yeah it's such a beautiful fish but I'm even more of a coral person than a fish guy. I just wanted to keep it by itself in a 57 rimless or something with strictly zoas and palys.

It was sold to me as a black x scopas hybrid. Really great little tang. Enjoying all the algae in our 205 as we have no grazing fish in there at all.

That is the fun part with hybrids, you can get all sorts of morphs out of them. Copps had a post in a thread a few years back that showed a black x scopas hybrid with the vertical bars. He was a great price at a local LFS here and we have been waiting on a tang that would do well in a 5 foot tank that we really like.
