2 weeks ago I ordered 3 Peppermint shrimp and 3 Halloween hermit crabs from DD. I gave up trying to find the shrimp locally. If they have them, I always seem to be too late to get 1. When they arrived here I noticed the warming pack (I don't know the exact name of it) was not warm at all. Actually, it was quite cool. I got nervous right away, but everything was alive. I acclimated them into they main tank. The 3 shrimp were gone as soon as they were out of the net. I looked and looked, but couldn't find them anywhere. The next day, 2 of them were right out in front dead. But the third 1 was MIA. Well, he showed up Saturday evening. I was very happy to see him again. It had been 10 days since I had put him in there, and last seen him. DD did credit me for the 2 that died less than 24hrs after getting them too. I saw him again last night, but have not seen him yet today. I'm sure he's hiding somewhere though.

Glad they credited you back! i know my peppermints hid REALLY good to the point where i might not see them for 3-4 days. The same goes for my everald crab. i did have one pepermint mysteriously disapear with no body or anything?? Good to know at least one made it through though! Which acclimation prosess did you use? I know i killed a few sexy shrimp at 2 drops a second. For inverts I found 1 drop per 2-3 seconds works best for me at least.
