All taken w/ canon 40d and canon 100mm 2.8 macro lens

What was your shutter speed on the Anthias? Sharp as a tack!

believe it of not.. only 1/80 at 800iso w/ f 2.8
didn't crop so just resized and no noise reduction
applied and it looks pretty noise free

I'm sure the Anthias isn't noise free in the full size version. I think I like #6 the best, it is stunning. Hard to pick though, the whole series is great.

yep.. I shoulda have said clean pic of 800 iso w/o any noise reduction
my personal favorite is #4 that zoa pic.... very interesting for me

All I did was cut off all water flow in the tank and set
camera to Av mode w/ f/11~f/8 for coral and f/2.8 for fish shot
and iso to 100 (lowest possible) for coral and 800 iso for fish
(for faster shutter speed) and use shutter release trigger
or use in-timer release button(I use 2-sec relay)
and most importantly, shoot it raw and do some work in
photoshop to adjust White Balance, level, curve, and some
sharpening and its done
