Haven't been around much lately. Will be moving next weekend and figured I'd post some pics before the tear down. Hopefully everything survives the move.

This one I got from Downset before he moved, it was the size of a dime last year around this time.

This one is from RandyO, of course this side is the less impressive.

This SPS I got from Keith, it grew well under my PC's.

I don't think I've ever posted pictures of my dogs.
Here is Nikita- the Huskie- (1/2 Huskie- 1/2 Timber Wolf) and our new Boston Terrier - Blue. Blue as in Old School not Clues!

Thanks,
She adopted him fairly quick.

ps- Anyone who has ever moved a tank- Whats a better way to trasport water besides 5gal buckets?

I used 18 gallon totes that I got from BigLots for pretty cheap. I moved 280 gallons that way. Then they come in handy for storing stuff in the basement.

Good luck after moving my 180 I don't envy you

Beautiful tank and great nail polish there Brian :p just kidding. Hope everything survives the move. I have an old tank I used to move in the past. Its good to have a place set up and ready to go when you get to the new place, salinity, PH etc. Also, have plenty of coolers and such available and try and keep a good portion of the water from the current tank to use in the next one. I see you have the sandbed, it looks clean but I'm sure there's a ton of stuff in there that can pollute the tank, be careful disturbing it and how you move it. You probably already knew all of this but I thought I would offer the info just in case.

Just saw your profile and it says you'll be leaving the state. A long distance move is a lot different than a short one. I'd invest in a power inverter that you can plug an air pump and heater into your cigarette lighter if need be. If you get one, grab some extra fuses they blow them a lot.

Brian,
We are not leaving the state just yet. I am moving into a home I own in cheeektowaga for a little while. Beats paying rent out in Alden. We'll be moving either in the Fall or next spring for NC. Thanks for all the advice, going to Big-Lots today.

Another reefer on the move, eh?
Beautiful reef aquarium.
Good luck, Brian. I'm moving my aquarium on the 18th of March- but only a mile away. You're welcome to help out and see how its done! :D
(I wouldn't get totes that are too big. A 5 gallon bucket gets heavy awfully quick- and I'm no fruitcake!)

Thanks Gary,
Good Luck, You have alot more water to move than me! You upgrading to a larger tank? I would gladly come out and give you a hand but that week is going to be a disaster for me and I'm sure you already have alot of hands.

Brian

Hey Brian,

The leather, neptha and zoanthids are doing great. When I was over you had some frags of your sun coral. Is there any left? I gotta pick one up before you move:)

Bill

Hey Brain,
The tank looks great. Good luck with the move. I always have extra tanks, equipment, and totes, if you need anything.

Bill- I have one frag left of my suns- the other got eaten by one of my acan echinatas- amazing the reach those things have. I'll get ahold of you after the move to cheektovegas.

Randy- Thanks for the offer- I appreciate it. I think I'm pretty covered with supplies. If I drop my tank I'll be looking for a 90gal Sat the 11th around noon- LOL. I'll have to drop by the new store and say hello soon.
