I'm having trouble finding lights I like for my 250gallon sps tank. I have used 400w xm 10 and 20k. 10k were too yellow, 20k too blue. I now have reeflux 250w 12k, and I love the color, but they are too dim. I think I'm going to move up to 250w hqi double ended bulbs to get roughly the same output as the 400w se, but with less energy use. I see a lot of people like the color of the hamilton and phoenix 14k bulbs. Are they very bright in a de bulb?
