Some Lighting Questions

I have 3 x 250W MH with 2xVHO Coralife Actinic "03" over my 72" 125 gallon reef

1) All of the bulbs were new in service on 3/1/09. When should I replace the bulbs?

2) Should I consider moving to a different temp bulb, say a 14K or a 20K? If so, why?

3) Should I switch brands for either MH or VHO?

1) Change VHOs every 6 months or so. Halides with correct ballasts are usually good for 1 year plus-
2)are you happy with the results and color of your present setup? Switching would be up to you.
