Some more pics (most macro attempts).

Here are some of the better pics out of probably 50 total that I uploaded out of roughly 1200 pics I took in the last 2 days from Kip's tanks and Coral Dynamics. Most were just the A620 in TV mode (1/60 most common) with macro mode. A few I took with the Raynox on but it seems to hinder more than help with most shots. Guess I'll just have to spring for the underwater housing. :)

I have more but these were the ones I liked the most. Tough call on which is my fav out of the group though. :(

I have borrowed a 100MM Canon macro lens to use with my teammates Rebel so I should hopefully have some good shots (1 good one per 1000 pics taken probably :)) in the next week or so once I find time.

No actinics in any shots.

14k Hamilton, Overdriven 400W Radiums (probably the ones you're thinking-a bit under exposed) and 10k ushio IIRC.

is that carnation?

Yep. Not mine though. It's Kip's (large thread in the SPS forum although this is in his "lagoonal" 75G) and I wouldn't attempt one.

Deflates a few mins after the lights are on.

Those are some really nice photos. You can't really get tired of loooking at them.

Thanks!

Here's a few more (borrowed a teammate's Rebel and Kip's 100MM macro lens):

Last 3 for now. I love the Rebel and control. 100mm macro isn't point and shoot for sure. :) But I got some decent shots for just playing around holding it vs. tripod (first few shots were tripod the rest hand held).
