Thats the same lens I just ordered, cant wait to start getting oics like that, very nice. Ill have to try the black bg as well

Have you ever used photoshop? I guess I can't really say it much easier than use a black paint brush use it to black out anything you want to. Does this make sense to everyone else? This can be done is the most simple of software such as MS Paint.

Truly incredible. What kind of lighting was that under? Great colors.

The tank was lit with 20K MH's. This was my first time shooting under 20K lighting so color correction was a bit more challenging than usual. I'm still hapy with how everything turned out. Thanks again for the comments.
 
I was going through a few of the photos that I haven't really looked at yet and edited this one up. I think it looked kinda neat :)

I understand what you mean with the black brush, I also like the clone stamp tool to replicate a particular style of background, even if it's just a blur.
