Some new pics from the tank

Here are some pics from the photoshoot I did today. Some are top down in an acrylic box I made similar to the one Melev shows on his site. All pics are under a 150W 20K MH light and I was using a Nikon Coolpix 4300. White balance was set to white starboard. Hope you enjoy!

Are you pulling focus manually, or using auto-focus? It looks to me your using AF and spot focus at that. If you do area focus, it'll help with the extremes (the nuclear green caulestra in second pic) and more will be in focus Just a little FYI in case you didn't know. Some one gave me that advice a while back, and it helped alot

Too technical for me Gresham. I need to take some photo class. Mental note - brain wash the wife for a brandnew camera for christmas.

Thanks for the tip Gresham. That calaustrea is nuclear green and is so bright that it is hard to take pictures of. I will try and get a full tank picture for everyone tonight. It is just a little 29 gallon tank with lots of frags.

buy mine! nikon d70, pristine condition, body only: $450, with the 18-70mm nikkor lens $650 total original boxes all around + all the stuff.
