Some new reef shots.

I haven't posted many pictures lately, work and my MBA have been filling my time but I was able to squeeze out a few shots this weekend. Shots were taken with Canon 50D with Sigma 150mm F/2.8 Macro, 17-55 F/2.8 IS, or 70-200 F/4L IS. Enjoy.

A new addition from my LFS:

This sunset monti has been growing quick:

This SPS was Bleached white and given to me, it has colored up quite nicely:

Wow, Great shots! What kind of camera/lens combination are you using? I really like the closeup of that sunset monti. Did you use a flash for any of these shots?

Here's my latest addition to my tank :D

Thanks for the comments Andy. No flash was used, just the available light. The camera/lens combination are listed at the top (sunset monti was taken with the Sigma 150mm).

Here is another SPS that I forgot to post:

Omg, DUH... I'm retarded... Wow 150mm macro is sure nice. I only have the EF 100mm f2.8 Macro. Great detail on all the shots.

I like the last one best, though the colors in the first are pretty outrageous.

I can see how you can get a bit closer visually with your 150mm macro than my 100mm macro lens.

Yeah, 50mm makes quite a difference. The shot of my Pulsing Xenias was shot with the 100mm f2.8 macro but at a distance of about 8 inches or so. Out of curiousity, are there any macro lenses longer than 150mm?

Great shots Blazer. Are those first zoanthids AoG from Barrier Reef's sale last weekend? If so, I eyeballed those and considered buying them as well. They look great.

Yep, a nice little AoG frag that had like 8 polyps for ~$40 after the discount. Great eye!

Thanks everyone else for the comments. I'll be leaving for Belize next week so I'm sure I'll have some cool landscape and underwater photos to post when I get back :)
