Some new videos of my reef.

WOW! I have been looking into getting a 240g cube, but never seen one so nice! That is honestly one of the best tanks I have ever seen. I really hope mine can look even half as good as yours! Amazing job!!!

yea ive seen the "idol" thread.. and i really like iwans tank, but yours is the most unique, and even thou its not as mature as the other tanks it is still the best to me. and the stand (wow)!!

That is a beautiful tank. I dont think I could ever create something like that. It was packed with corals, I like how you have the back mountain of rocks with the two from "islands" of rock. I also love your school of blue green reef chromis or blue reef chromis. I also see you have 4 clowns. I love the black and white, could you post a list of the fish you have. That would be awesome, thanks

Thanks again guys.
Here's my fish list: I may be adding a small regal angel fish this weekend and moving out one of the yellow tangs. Of course, I'm still looking for a small black tang as well ;)

Flame Angel
Chevron Tang
Two Yellow Tangs
Helfrichi Firefish

Very nice. Glad to see you sticking it out.

How many "jumpers" have you had?
Thanks. Yep, I'll stick with the stonies for a while longer ;) The more I look at the local selection of soft corals, the more I think I'll stick with stonies :)
I have had two ruby wrasses jump out on me, but they were in the tank for almost a year before they jumped out. I have a feeling my flame wrasse chased them out. I've also had one chromis decide to go carpet surfing too. Other than that, everyone else has stayed put.

Yeah, your tank is open right, and how do all those clowns get along?
Yep, tank is completely open top. The clowns all get along fine. They each have their own rose BTA (or two) and they are never aggressive towards one another.

Wow, amazing as usual! The video was great, it really showed the depth and the time you took aquascaping. I love all the fish as well. My oldest daughter is so excited to start getting fish for our sonofgaldriel clone tank ;) Finally have it home and started plumbing. Keep posting pictures when you get a chance.

Awesome video!!!! Thanks for sharing that.

Dave

I noticed you didnt mention the helfrichi firefish as one of the jumpers. Does he swim in the brightly lit areas or more under the shade of ur rock work? Im trying to decide if i should move mine under power compacts or if the halide won't scare him into jumping.
thanks

The Helfrichi pretty much stays near the bottom center area of the tank, down in the central 'cavern'. She does come out from time to time and definately not shy during feeding times.
Beautiful fish!

It is still one of my favorites. It is up there with Steve Weast in my opinion. Ok, maybe a notch down. :)

:eek1: I never even considered myself in the same 'reef universe' with Steve's incredible reef, let alone being mentioned in the same breath!
I would have to say 'many large notches down', but thanks very much for that compliment! Steve's set up was definately an inspiration.
