Thank you, it was running with 50ppm nitrates and high PO4 when these were taken but I never suffered with any algae.

amazing pictures, do you know how do you click such shots. how long do you sit in front of the tank to click those pictures and how many pictures do you click to pick the best one....just trying to figure out few things before I make any purchase on any DSLR.

The length of time spent trying to get a certain shot depends on what it is, if I'm trying to capture my clownfish in the goni it's a waiting game. The Acanthopyllia picture I posted was a few mins (I had to play with settings to get the correct DOF and exposure as it's a new camera). I used to use the camera on continuous shooting by spraying and praying lol but now I just take my time on single shot mode. If you try to take short cuts capturing what you want you'll only spend more time wading through the memory card looking at wasted shots and trying to find the best one.

I took this one earlier, it took me two shots to get the settings right and I took this one and another one.
