I really have grown to hate the clove polyp. It's a problem with colonies that aren't healthy but I have found that most encrusting corals have no issue growing over it. That being said it's the main reason why I am planning on doing a new tank. I just hope that by trying to get rid of one issue I don't open the doors to something else.

Sorry to hear you plan to eradicate the clove polyps when you switch tanks. I think they are beautiful. That said, I wouldn't have them in my reef tank.
